Q: Does Brunswick Hills Township permit open burns (bon fires)?
A: Open burns (bon fires) are permitted per the Ohio Revised Code and the Ohio EPA regulations.
Q: Are the fire stations staffed 24 hours per day, seven days a week?
A: No. We are staffed at the station from 7:00am – 12:00am every day as a part-time department. Personnel are on-call responding from home or the station during volunteer hours, 4:30am – 7:00am. All members are required to in the responding area while they are on call.
Q: Do you do home inspections?
A: Yes. Contact the department’s office (330) 225-2211 during our business hours to schedule an inspection appointment with one of our Inspectors.
Q: Do you bill residents for EMS transport to hospitals?
A: No. Brunswick Hills Township has never billed its residents for transport service however the Township asks for re-imbursement thru insurance providers. If a resident is uninsured, no re-imbursement will be asked for.
