Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Brunswick Hills Police Department to enforce the laws of the United States of America, the State of Ohio, and the Resolutions of Brunswick Hills Township. Further, it is our mission to enforce the law with impartiality and courtesy, to respect the Constitutional Rights of all people, and to provide services to the citizens of Brunswick Hills Township that will enhance their quality of life.

The Brunswick Hills Police Department is a community-oriented, full service, twenty-four hour a day law enforcement agency that places the highest priority on servicing the community and maintaining a high degree of community safety. Our philosophy focuses on community involvement, and our enforcement activity centers on efforts to maintain the high quality of life the citizens of the community share. We are committed to providing security and safety to the citizens we serve and protect.

Belief Statement

The following beliefs form the foundation for the future direction of the Brunswick Hills Police Department:

  • We believe that criminal activity, of any kind, affects the quality of life, including; the economy, our community, our families, and our health,

  • We believe that a combined effort by all law enforcement agencies, along with the schools, and the community, is essential to effectively minimize criminal activity in Brunswick Hills Township,

  • We believe that education and continuing specialized training is essential to the community we work and live in, and,

  • We believe that with a mixture of our past, and a shared vision for our future, we can maintain a safe community.
