Community Relations Programs

  • Neighborhood Watch – The Brunswick Hills Police Department is maintaining a relationship with residents, helping them to keep their neighborhoods safe. Residents are asked to be additional eyes and ears of the department by reporting unusual or suspicious persons or activities.

  • Tip Line – The tip line is a 24 hour phone line where residents can confidentially report illegal drug and alcohol activity or other criminal activity in Brunswick Hills. Call 330-273-3722 and ask for the Tip Line or use the Tip Line menu option.

  • Elder Watch – Senior adults in the community needing special assistance because of confinement due to various conditions are checked on by the Brunswick Hills Police Department. If a program participant does not check in with the department on a regular basis, an officer checks to ensure that everything is alright.

  • Business Watch – This is an informative program addressing the needs of local businesses. Business owners are provided with information to help them safeguard their assets.

  • Vacation Watch – The Brunswick Hills Police Department will provide special attention to your residence while you are away from your home on vacation. For more information, call 330-273-3722

  • Community Directory – The Brunswick Hills Police Department has compiled pertinent and helpful information in the form of phone numbers for government offices, schools, churches, utilities, and community services..

  • Bicycle Patrol – A patrol car is not the only vehicle you will find our officers in. The bike patrol brings our officers even closer to the residents and provides the department with an additional tool to deter crime.

  • Community Cable Programs – In addition to Business Watch, The Brunswick Hills Police Department is involved in recording programs of public interest for local cable station B-52. These programs deal with various subjects, including senior safety, services provided by the department, and home and business safety measures.

  • Stranger Safety – This program is geared toward chidren and their parents to reinforce and provide safety measures regarding strangers.

  • Bicycle Rodeo – An annual bicycle rodeo helps to teach bike safety and riding skills to our younger residents.

  • Women’s Self-Defense Classes – The Brunswick Hills Police Department wants to help women feel confident and safer in the event of an attack by teaching women basic, easy to use and remember self-defense techniques.
