The Storm Water Commission operates under the direction of the Board of Trustees and follows the terms of the Brunswick Hills Township’s National Pollutant Discharge System (NPDES) issued by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and in compliance with provisions of the Federal Water Pollution Act and the Ohio Water Pollution Control Act.  It is designed to enhance to quality of the Township’s rivers, lakes and streams for the public welfare of its residents, of neighboring communities and the nation at large.

The Commission was formed in 2003 under the direction of the Board of Trustees for the purpose of implementing the six Minimum Control Measures of the Brunswick Hills Township Storm Water Management Plan:  Public Involvement, Public Education, Illicit Discharge, Construction, Post-Construction and Pollution Prevention/Good Housekeeping.

The Commission consists of volunteer members of our community and 1 member of the Board of Trustees.  Meetings are typically 3 – 4 times per year held at Town Hall.  If you are interested in serving on the Storm Water Commission, contact a member of the Board of Trustees.
